The beauty of
the black cockatoo
Mangoola, a coal mine in Australia, takes its name from traditional Aboriginal language, with 'Mangoola' thought to mean 'place of the black cockatoo', a native bird to Australia. Using the name’s meaning as inspiration End of Work created these beautiful print pieces to represent the the feathers of a bird and the strata layers of the earth. This was achieved through a large foil blocked pattern, and laser cut paper. Launch invitations, commemorative books, brochures, cards and stationery were produced on black paper stock.
