Bib & Tucker Brand identity and environment
Bib & Tucker is a restaurant and bar on Leighton Beach in Fremantle, WA and is the latest venture by Olympic swimmer Eamon Sullivan. Being neither a fine dining establishment or a cafe but something in between, Bib & Tucker is about serving up good, honest food, cooked well in a relaxed setting. We were given the name and a soulless, beach-front location and put to work. End of Work invented a back-story about two dandified bandits, Bib and Tucker, from mid-1800s Fremantle akin to an early Australian version of Bonnie and Clyde.
they would have been just as likely to compliment you on your exquisite taste in shoes as to relieve you of your wallet.
These high-toned rouges seemed the perfect embodiment of our theme ‘elegant rascality’ and an appropriate metaphor for this neglected pocket of the West. The story goes that they would have been just as likely to compliment you on your exquisite taste in shoes as to relieve you of your wallet. With a clear direction and story for the project we worked with Romy Alwill and Will Dangar utilising a stripped-back colour palette along with tactile, rustic materials to build a brand with grit and authenticity with just a little splash of elegance.
